Rabbi Yitzchak Coopersmith

 

Rabbi Yitzchak Coopermith’s Bio Rabbi Yitzchak Coopersmith is originally from Toronto, Canada. After High school he studied in Yeshivas Aish HaTorah and the Mir Yeshiva before receiving smicha from HaRav Avraham Kopshitz and the Chief Rabbi of Israel Rav Mordechai Eliyhau ztz’l. 

Rabbi Coopersmith played a central role in building Aish HaTorah into one of the leading Kiruv organizations in the Jewish world today. Under his leadership as CEO many of Aish’s most impactful programs, including, the Jerusalem Fellowships, The Discovery Seminar, Aish.com, Aish’s Spanish Yeshiva, Gesher, Hasbara Fellowships, Project Inspire and the Aish Word Center facing the Kotel were conceived of and created. 

He is considered HaRav HaGaon Rav Noach Weinberg ztz’l talmid muvhak and he has written 5 books on Rav Noach Weinberg’s Torah including, Constant Connection on the Six Constant Mitzvahs, Toras Chaim on the Parsha, The 48 Ways to Wisdom, the Eye of the Needle- Aish HaTorah’s Kiruv Primer and Rabbi Weinberg’s commentary to Mesilas Yesharim. 

Currently Rabbi Coopersmith teaches a wide variety of Torah subjects, and is privileged to work for the Minchas Asher Harav HaGaon HaRav Asher Weiss shlita. 

He is also the founder of the Talmud B’yado learning Program which is a unique learning strategy based on the wisdom of Chazal that empowers people to master and retain their learning. 

Rabbi Coopersmith and his wife Bruchie live in Jerusalem with their children and grandchildren.
